Hot Bench, a nontraditional court show in the format of a panel debuted on September 15, 2014, and it has caught the attention of lawmakers. The show which has increased in viewership can be watched on TruTV in England, and Yes TV in Canada.
There have been 1,535 episodes of the show so far. The show features a panel of three judges namely; Michael Corriero, Rachel Juarez, and Yodit Tewolde.
The judges address small-claim issues and debate different aspects of the proceedings among themselves in the courtroom before reaching a verdict. Only with the agreement of two of the three judges can a decision be made.
Before the current judges assumed their respective roles, Tanya Acker, Larry Bakman, and Patricia DiMango, a former Brooklyn Supreme Court judge, served on the Hot Bench panel.
HOT BENCH ranked first among all daytime television original court programs in household ratings and across all key demographics for the 2020–21 season.
