Lamman Rucker is an American actor who has graced the screens of his fans for many years. He landed his breakthrough role in 2002 on the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns opposite Tamara Tunie. He was chosen to play the role of attorney T. Marshall Travers.
A few years later, he landed another major role on the ABC soap opera All My Children. He was selected to portray Garret Williams in 2005 a role that helped him to make a name for himself in the acting scenes. He went on to play leading roles in Tyler Perry’s films and co-starred in Why Did I Get Married? in 2007 and Why Did I Get Married Too? in 2010.
Rucker most recently starred in the BET+ drama The Black Hamptons which was released in August 2022. The second season of the series premiered on December 7, 2023. Lamman plays the role of Anthony Johnson

Rucker was born on October 6, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States to a family of entertainers. He developed an interest in the media industry at an early age and he decided from the start that he would make a career out of it.
